All the best in retirement, I think you will ...Ray<br /><br />All the best in retirement, I think you will end up finding that you will wonder how you ever had time to go to work.<br /><br />My late father in law had a bad case of shingles & it took some time to get over it, but once he did his life was no different to how he was previously, so my thoughts are with you for the recovery & future.<br /><br />The one thing that sticks in my mind from all the drivers I fired for who worked the big engines, including Ken Groves was that <br />once settled into the grades at a steady pace, the sound was very much a monotonous one of sounding like ah come-in ta get cha in short spaces between the beats.<br /><br />Those who worked on assistant engines with older non turret tenders would have that constant sound behind them & they had the impression that the big mongrels were going to climb over the top of them.<br /><br />Best of luck with the project.<br /><br />ColinColin Husseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10166476334786660482noreply@blogger.com
