The operation is scheduled for 19 June and it can't come soon enough for her.
Anyway, just to post something I give you another video of an Austrains C35 traversing part of the layout. Now this video has no sound so don't try turning the sound up. It is one of my early try outs of the Micro HD video camera and while it isn't that clear (disappointment here) it does give a nice low down next to the tracks view.
The view is often a bit crooked as the camera is so light that even static grass can throw it off level.
I will post something when I can but I may not be able to do much for obvious reasons.

Ray,
would like to wish all the best to Chris in her upcoming operation.
Hope all goes well.
What is the item stuck under the second K truck? Your secret rail cleaner?
regards
Bob
Ray,
Hope the operation is a success. Family comes first.
By the way, I'm very impressed with the pulling power of the 35 Class. I don't think I'd get that out of my 32 class.

I will pass on your best wishes to Chris.
Yes, it is a track cleaner, it can also be seen under the K wagon in front of the tank wagon on the video in the previous post, I wondered how long it would take someone to notice it.
The cleaner is made by Noch I think, they clip onto an axle and rub along keeping the track clear of dust mainly. You can use a small amount of CRC 226 or similar but too much makes the glue on the fuzzy material fail.

Thanks for the best wishes.
The C35 is basically going down hill, it can't pull that load up the grade. When heading uphill this is where the bank loco comes into play.

My thoughts are with both of you & especially Chris. Having had a Lamenectomy on my back in 08, it was a relief, even though I still need pain killers I am not sorry for having the op, I am also finding these days, that having theropaudic injections after A SPECT Xray, is giving me huge help.
I have one of those track cleaners attached to an S truck behind the engine, amazing how well they work.
